A high-volume, physician-led private pediatric orthopaedic practice in Austin, Texas is seeking an experienced, fellowship-trained pediatric orthopaedic surgeon to lead and continue development of our pediatric trauma program while establishing a lower extremity deformity service line.
Our surgeons provide coverage at the only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in Austin, offering consistent exposure to complex injuries within one of the region’s fastest-growing pediatric markets. This role is designed for a confident surgeon prepared to step into a visible clinical position with meaningful responsibility, substantial autonomy, and the opportunity to build a durable, high-impact practice.
Practice Overview
7 pediatric orthopaedic surgeons and 1 nonoperative physician
Integrated rehabilitation team with 7 physical therapists and 1 occupational therapist
4 clinic locations serving a rapidly expanding Central Texas population
Coverage at 2 hospitals, including the only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in the city
Established referral network with strong operative volume and efficient clinical infrastructure
The Opportunity
Provide leadership in pediatric orthopaedic trauma with exposure to high-acuity cases
Build and shape a lower extremity deformity program supported by a large referral base
Practice with substantial clinical autonomy within a collaborative, surgeon-led group
Influence programmatic growth as the practice continues to expand

Work directly with orthopaedic residents (PGY-2 and PGY-5 rotating year-round)

Ideal Candidate
Fellowship-trained pediatric orthopaedic surgeon; several years of practice experience preferred (but not required)
Demonstrated comfort managing complex pathology and exercising independent clinical judgment
Interest or expertise in trauma and lower extremity deformity
Board certified/board eligible
Eligible for Texas licensure
