JOB SUMMARY The Palliative Medicine Physician will work within an interdisciplinary team to provide inpatient consultation to patients with serious illness who are seeking assistance with advanced symptom management, clarifying goals of care, addressing end of life issues and care, and transition planning. Consults will be provided to all types of admissions including medical, surgical, and ICU and will augment care provided by the attending hospitalist or surgical team.
