St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking a full-time, Fellowship trained and Board Certified Neonatologist for our level 2+ NICU at Bellevue Women's Center located in Schenectady, New York.
The Neonatologists care for infants in the NICU and mother-baby unit, provide high-risk OB/neonatal consults, and attend high-risk deliveries. Bellevue's Level II Special Care Nursery is one of only three in northeastern New York that provides these specialized services for infants over 30 weeks gestation in need of non-surgical medical intervention and care.
Bellevue Womans Center, a service of Ellis Medicine, is the regions only inpatient facility dedicated to the care of women and infants - a trusted name in women's health for three-quarters of a century. Bellevues OB/GYN services include breast care, surgery, gynecologic care, and maternity, and features the region's first OB/GYN Hospitalist program to deliver enhanced care for pregnant women.
About Ellis Medicines Neonatology Program:
2,000+ deliveries annually
15-bed level 2B NICU
Average 190+ NICU admissions annually
Call rotation is about 1:3 or 1:4. Out of house call with 20-minute radius
Care for infants gestational age 30 weeks and older
Supervision and teaching of Family Medicine residents
Interested candidates must have completed a Neonatology Fellowship and be Board Certified. New York State licensure and DEA certification are also required.
