In this role he/she provides administrative and supervisory oversight for the following multidisciplinary mental health teams: 1. Psychiatric Evaluation and Treatment Team 2. Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Teams 1 and 2 3. Mental Health Rehabilitation Program 4. Compensated Work and Incentive Therapy Program 5. Substance Abuse Treatment Program Duties include responsibility for the daily operations, strategic planning, Joint Commission, CARF and VHA compliance reviews, performance evaluation and disciplinary actions, and performance improvement activities of all programs and staff assigned the ACC Program Manager. S/he also provides clinical services to a diverse group of complex mental health patients consistent with his/her licensing, credentialing, and privileging. This position requires 50% administrative duties, and 50% clinical duties. This position reports directly to the Associate Chief of Staff for Mental Health Services (ACOS/MHS). Administrative Responsibilities of the ACC Program Manager - Is responsible for the day-to-day functioning of all components of the program to ensure compliance with VA, Joint Commission and CARF standards. - Is responsible for ensuring that excellent, timely, veteran-centric mental health care is provided in all areas of supervisory control. - Chairs regular meetings with each program to provide broad administrative oversight - Collaborates with programs and teams to develop and revise section policies and procedures as problems are identified, prioritized, and resolved. - Assures that all reports required of the program are completed using accurate data. - Represents the programs at administrative functions and MH Board meetings - Reports all pertinent clinical and administrative information, data, problems, and accomplishments to the Associate Chief of Staff for Mental Health. Advises ACOS MH about clinical and administrative issues in areas under supervisory control. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm.
