Provides overall leadership in the development and execution of all Wellbridge’s clinical activities to ensure that patients receive the highest level of clinical care. As a member of the senior management team, the Medical Director will participate in planning and decision making in the areas of marketing, business development, operations, customer experience, innovation, and research. The Medical Director is responsible for monitoring the performance of all physicians, allied health professionals, and clinical departments to assure that the highest standard of patient care is provided. This position will work closely with Northwell Health and the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell to develop and coordinate clinical and educational activities that support the mission of each entity.
Experience and Qualifications:
M.D. Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine.
Completion of Medical Residency with Board Certification.
Currently licensed as a physician in the State of New York.
Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine Fellowship.
