The Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, is actively recruiting a part-time Otologist to participate in our clinical practice and teaching programs. We have an active affiliation with University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center, and a UIC clinical faculty appointment is anticipated for the accepted candidate. Faculty rank will be dependent upon academic credentials and experience. Candidates will be expected to participate in the clinical practice and teaching programs at VA Chicago Health Care System. Clinical responsibilities include the full spectrum of operative and non-operative management of otolaryngology patients for head and neck surgery to include specializing in otology. Cochlear implant surgical and audiology services are provided at JBVA. An Otologist at JBVA is expected to participate in the education and training of our residents and medical students. Research clinical/basic science is strongly emphasized at our institution. A two year fellowship in neurotology is a prerequisite for the position.
