Work Schedule: Flexibility exists. Planned Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 8:00am - 5:pm (Part-time hours 32-34 hours). Management reserves the right to change schedule based on facility needs. Financial Disclosure Report: Not required The SFVA Women's Mental Health Program's mission is to provide timely, high quality, trauma informed, gender sensitive mental health care in an integrated, collaborative model with primary care providers; to develop innovative treatment approaches with a focus on wellness and recovery; and to train clinicians in the provision of quality, gender-appropriate care. The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team including psychology, social work, nursing staff and trainees who work collaboratively with each other and our primary care colleagues. In addition to consultation with primary care, provision of medication management and psychotherapy modalities to priority patient populations (survivors of sexual abuse, military sexual trauma and intimate partner violence; patients with issues related to pregnancy, post-partum and parenting; lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender veterans; and female OEF/OIF veteran readjustment); the candidate will co-lead a longitudinal clinical learning experience for UCSF psychiatry residents. Duties include: Outpatient psychiatric assessments Management of a clinical caseload including medication management, referral to specialty services as appropriate and coordination of care. Supervision of UCSF psychiatry residents and medical students rotating in the Women's Clinic Mental Health Program Supervision of VA psychiatry fellows rotating in the Women's Clinic Mental Health Program Supervision of VA psychology interns, externs and post-doctoral fellows rotating in the Women's Clinic Mental Health Program
