The Comprehensive Transplant Center and Division of Organ Transplantation at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time, non-tenure eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant Professor. Responsibilities are broad and include deceased and living donor kidney and liver transplantation, pancreas transplantation, small volumes of general abdominal procedures, and possibly dialysis access procedures.
Qualified candidates will candidates will be multi-organ transplant surgeons who have their MD, are board certified in General Surgery, have completed a 2-year ASTS accredited Abdominal Organ Transplant Fellowship, have 2-3 post-fellowship experience as an attending transplant surgeon, are eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois, and are eligible to work in the United States. This position that is primarily clinical; candidates with interest in clinical or outcomes research will also be considered.
