Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, a member of Lahey Health, is seeking to expand its Neurocritical Care and Stroke services by hiring an additional Neurointensivist. The service is expanding to provide primary critical care in a geographically distinct unit for neurocritical care patients as well as consultative care for patients with neurologic complications of other types of critical illness. The position would mainly consist of primary and consultative care duties, with some additional time attending on the Stroke service and in an envisioned Neurocritical Care follow-up clinic. Launched in the spring of 2015, the Neurocritical Care service is housed in the Department of Neurology and is a joint effort involving Neurosurgery, Critical Care Medicine, and Interventional Neuroradiology.
