Candidates must have a urology background and be fellowship trained or board certified is FPMRS
Practice current employs one FPMRS practitioner
Position will share general urology call

Ochsner’s Department of Urology currently includes 25 urologists system-wide who are dedicated to providing state-of-the-art medical and surgical care. Over 370 robotic procedures were performed in the department last year, and we are experiencing rapid growth this year. Our urological team provides comprehensive and specialized urologic medical and surgical care in the areas of adult and general urology, pediatric urology, female pelvic medicine, and urological oncology, urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, testicular cancer and surgical and non-surgical treatment of kidney stones. We offer highly sophisticated technologies such as robotic assisted surgery, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy and laser therapies. Ochsner Main Campus has three robots in the OR in addition to a robot in the training lab. A 10,000 square foot Pelvic Floor Center is being built at the Women’s Pavilion, located at Ochsner Baptist.
